Warehouse Associate

Scandinavian Designs in San Carlos is seeking a full time Warehouse Person. We sell home, office and children's furniture - assembled and unassembled - and some accessories. In 1963, Scandinavian Designs opened its first store in San Rafael, California, with the vision of bringing Scandinavian designed furniture and giftware to the Bay Area market. Now referred to as mid-century modern in style, and known around the world, we continue to source the best in contemporary furnishings and pride ourselves on providing exceptional designs at great values. Each person in our company is passionate about providing quality products and exceptional service. Scandinavian Designs now operates across 37 stores across seven states under the brand names Scandinavian Designs, Plummers and Dania and is headquartered in Petaluma, CA.

The schedule will include weekends. We certify for forklift, drug test, and DMV check. We offer a competitive rate, a benefits pkg. and a 401 (k) plan.

Requirements:

The Warehouse Person is part of a staff that is responsible for maintaining an organized, well-maintained warehouse. The Warehouse Person must be able to lift and move heavy objects safely and efficiently. This person must accurately fill customer, and in-store orders/requests for merchandise. Must also provide helpful and friendly customer service for merchandise pickups, work well with others and have some knowledge of hand tools. We use a computerized inventory system. The Warehouse person reports to the Warehouse Manager.
