Store Manager

Scandinavian Designs is a premier furniture and home décor retailer and we are looking for Store Manager in our Santa Rosa  location. Store Managers work  in our innovative operation ensuring we have the highest levels of team member and customer satisfaction in the furniture industry.  Manage and motivate the increased sales and quality performance of the team.  Build team commitment to high standards of service, exceeding customer expectations and leading by example. Model the exemplary conduct that builds lasting relationships with our customers. Make sure our company policy and procedures are adhered to on a consistent basis and that our operations run smoothly.



Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, design or similar field is preferred. Entrepreneurial spirit with a proven track record of successful sales experience in a consumer product service environment.  Experience in the management of staff and ability to coach a team to optimum performance.  Design background preferred. The ability to use good judgment and effective decision making in a constantly changing environment. Experience staffing schedules and reporting payroll. Demonstrated effective and persuasive communications and presentation skills. Proficiency in basic math, 10 key and computer data entry, report and look up. Able to successfully complete our pre-employment physical and screening.

In 1963, Scandinavian Designs opened its first store in San Rafael, California, with the vision of bringing Scandinavian designed furniture and giftware to the San Francisco market. Now referred to as mid-century modern in style, and known around the world, we continue to source the best in contemporary furnishings and pride ourselves on providing exceptional designs at great values. Scandinavian Designs now operates across 37 stores across seven states under the brand names Scandinavian Designs, Plummers and Dania and is headquartered in Petaluma, CA.
